Bart Goodwin
Managing Member Bart Goodwin is a Vietnam Veteran who retired as a Sergeant from the
Arizona Department of Public Safety (State Police) after more than 20 years of service. While
working for DPS, Bart served in many of the Department’s Bureaus, including the Highway
Patrol, Auto Theft, Liquor Control, Narcotics Undercover Unit and the Southern Arizona Special
Investigations Unit which was responsible for investigating officer involved shootings or other
critical incident investigations involving DPS officers or officers from other police agencies. The
assignment also involved assisting other police agencies with investigating sensitive internal
investigations, as well as investigations involving local, county, and state politicians. Just prior
to retirement, Bart supervised the criminal intelligence unit which was comprised of intelligence
officers, civilian intelligence analysis and, at times, members of the military assigned to the
intelligence unit.
In 1992, after retirement from DPS, Bart applied to become a private investigator and opened
APIA. While maintaining APIA, Bart was recruited into the public sector where he worked as
the Director of Corporate Security and Compliance for Games West, Inc., US Automatic Mfg.
Co-AZ and USAMCO, Inc. This venture brought to reality the stark contrast between
government employment and dealing with Government agencies from the private sector
perspective. While semi-retired, Bart continues to oversee the day to day operations of APIA while being
very involved with his church and various disaster response agencies as an IFOC Chaplain.
Christopher Goodwin
Christopher G. Goodwin is a licensed investigator and a member of the LLC. Chris has experience in the wireless industry in sales, repair and management. Chris also spent several years in the hotel industry in Las Vegas as an assistant front desk manager for one of the major casino/resorts. Chris has extensive experience resolving complex issues with customers, vendors and employees. Chris has the ability to conduct internal investigations and bring a quick resolution to the issue at hand.
